As usual, I gotta be the first to do things to get things started What would you like to see in WoW that you think would make the game better than other fantasy MMORPGS? (No rocket ships or immortal cyborgs Magnus! )

Good animation, I know its possible with current technology so why can't avatars make use of this and look really convincing? I'd also like to see a huge range of different weapons, similar to the way there was so much in DS and they all looked different, not just with having different stats, kewl auras for the weapons would be good as well so you know what kind of damage they are going to cause.

It would be nice if MMORPGS had the same attack animations as the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers PS2 game had with realistic fighting movements. I downloaded a clip from WoW and I know it was just a pre-beta form, but it looked to be the same combat as all the rest of the mmorpgs out there with just the character and monster hacking away at each other. But Blizzard has said it is going to have combos in the game (Kinda like Mortal Kombat) where you can apply even more damage than just taking turns hacking and kicking and whatever. Can't wait to see the final product.

Realism: A fantasy-gaming world I can role-play in. I do not want to simply level, level, and level some more just to be powerful. I want major world wide events in the story to impact the world and all the individual players. I want my character to have a purpose in the game.

I'm with Terent. A deep lore, with the players actions creating a real impact on the outcome of the game. I want to see a world where you have a feeling that there is some impending doom a la LoTR. It's not banging on your door at the immediate moment, but you know something is coming. As a character, you have the choice is create a comfy home for yourself in blissful ignorance, you can run amok and be a loot whore, or you can start preparing for the day when all hell breaks lose. I want a dynamic world.

I want dual winding with dualsword. Like that night elf, don't remember his/her name. Would be kickass!

One thing that bugged me in EQ was that to sell something to other players you had to be online to make the trade. In MMORPG's generally, where trading is an option, it would be nice to have the ability to hire a NPC who can sell equipment for you. This would mean that you could simply keep your NPC seller stocked up with items while you went about questing for items etc. Thankfully SWG has adopted this approach and I hope WoW and future MMORPG's do the same.
