Before I inform those who are interested in joining Malador exactly what type of members we are looking for, I would first like to introduce you to our origins and experiences so that this might reveal more than just a guild, but a gaming team filled with friends and loyalty to one another so strong, that we have become more than just a guild, more than just a team, but an online family.
Malador was created to share online adventures with people from all walks of life and ages who shared common gaming interests. Previously named Nexsis when it was first created July 5, 2000, it has survived these years due to trust, maturity, and most importantly, teamwork. We strive for one thing and one thing only; fun. Without that simple enjoyment, a guild ceases to be that which it was made for and ceases to exist to serve its purpose. Malador has experienced many games from all different genres, from Diablo II all the way to EverQuest. We have found ourselves immersed in Real Time Strategy games, from simple Role-Playing Games, First Person Shooters, all the way through Massive Online Multiplayer Games.
From these experiences we have learned that it is more than just fun and games, but the unfortunate occurrences of grief players (those who enjoy ruining games for others). Whatever be their petty motives, Malador strives to escape those types of gamers and surround ourselves with members whom we know we can trust and know that our members would watch our backs as we watch theirs. There is an old motto that holds true in which we strongly believe in: “All for one and one for all”. Just think about that for a minute; “All for one and one for all”. If the world as we know it practiced that simple philosophy, imagine the difference it would make. So just imagine the difference that would make in the gaming world if and when you ventured into a gaming world that you knew you had the support of every member in your guild that would go to the ends of whatever game you are in to help protect you and share your adventures with.
