ok, first I have some toughts about the crime lords thing. The evil chars in games don't do crimes, they just do what they think is good. Good calls evil evil while evil calls good evil. Like actually it's good vs good (or evil vs evil ofcurs) We just see 1 group as good becuz it lifes up to our standards. Got my point? Ok, now to the point. I love the idea to really roleplay in a game. This seems to be almost impossible but blizz has a smart team of producers. Problem of that is that it takes years till they are satisfied..... Ok, I got two really big problems with roleplay 1st. If you have a service (like an armory or whatever) other people must be using it. Otherwise it wouldn't help much I guess. So they need a solution for that. 2nd. problem is that if you have own part it would be soon very boring. I mean, runnning a armory all day would get very boring. Defending a castle is something different. But if you do 1 you got to do the other. So you should still can level. So you can fight monsters and you can run a shop or whatever. Ok, try to think about. Thx for the reading material Terentius

True you could argure this for the SW films that the Empire is only trying to bring order (and possibly peace) to the galaxy. However its the way that they go about it that makes us the viewer see them as the evil party. I feel the best way of RPing in SWG is by the idea that "we are what we are - let others decide whether we are evil or not". SWG Malador is to side with the Hutt faction / Empire and possibly belong directly to one or the other, I still haven't decided which at this point. I'm thinking that were are either out to serve the Empire the best way we can or we exsist to make profit out of others misfortune, ie by me killing them. When I say "evil" its ment as a description of the PA that people can easily recognise are relate to.
